Your Day. Your Pace. Your Adventure.

Step into the wild on your own terms with the Ningaloo Private Wilderness Charter, a fully guided, one-day trek/tour designed exclusively for individuals, couples, families, or private groups.

Led by your expert local guide, this experience offers more than just a walk through stunning landscapes. It’s an opportunity to connect deeply with Country, to listen, observe and understand the ancient forces that have shaped Cape Range and the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Coast over millions of years.

Tailored entirely to your pace and interests, this charter takes you beyond the set trails — into areas few visitors get to experience. Whether you're seeking solitude, celebrating a special occasion, or looking to challenge yourself with a more demanding route, you'll have the freedom to move with intention, to pause when the land speaks, and to take the time to truly see.

Prefer coastal walking or exploring tide pools? That’s an option too — ideal for spotting marine life and observing the reef’s intertidal world up close.

Along the way, you’ll gain insights into the region’s unique biodiversity, deep-time geology, and the cultural layers that give this place its enduring spirit. With your guide as both companion and storyteller, you’ll come away with more than memories—you’ll carry a personal connection to one of Australia's most extraordinary landscapes.

What to Expect

Personal. Purposeful. Unforgettable.

This isn’t a fixed itinerary — it’s an experience shaped entirely around you.

From the moment we set off, the day is yours to explore at your own rhythm. Whether you're keen for a relaxed and reflective journey or you're looking to cover more rugged ground and push yourself a little further, we’ll design the route to match your interests, pace, and fitness level.

Your guide brings more than trail knowledge — they bring a deep, personal connection to Country. With years of experience walking this land, they’ll interpret the geology, biodiversity and cultural stories that make Cape Range and Ningaloo so unique. This is a chance to go beyond the surface — to slow down, look closer, and truly connect with the stories held in stone, wind and water.

Prefer gentler terrain and more time for photography, wildlife watching, or beachcombing? No problem. Interested in more challenging tracks with sweeping views and longer climbs? Let’s go. The path we take is guided by what you’re here to experience — and how you want to feel at the end of the day.

This experience is also ideal for special interest groups — including birdwatchers, visiting scientists, or anyone seeking a more focused and flexible encounter with this remarkable landscape.

Why Choose a Private Charter?

This is more than just a private tour — it’s a deeper way to experience Ningaloo.

When you walk with us on a Ningaloo Private Wilderness Charter, you're not just booking a guide — you're gaining exclusive access to knowledge, stories, and places most never get to see.

Whether you’re after freedom from the crowd, space for reflection, or the challenge of a longer route, this is your chance to engage with the landscape on your own terms — with the time and attention it deserves.

Why go private?

  • No crowds — just you, your people, and the land

  • Total flexibility in pace, route and focus

  • One-on-one interpretation of geology, ecology and cultural connections

  • Ideal for families, photographers, nature lovers, birdwatchers, visiting researchers, and those celebrating something special

  • Access to less-travelled tracks, coastal walking trails, and tide pool zones

  • Time to listen, learn, ask questions, or simply walk in silence

Whether you're moving slowly or covering distance, this is your day to experience Country in a way that’s meaningful to you.

Price: From $1,650 per group (1–6 guests) | Duration: Full day | Distance: Tailored (typically 5–12 km)

Trek Notes

This is your day — and we’ll shape the trek to suit your pace and preferences. That said, Cape Range is still wild country. Some sections of the walk may include rocky gullies, loose stones, uneven ground or short, steep climbs. We’ll plan a route that matches your comfort level and sense of adventure.

Don’t worry if you're not an experienced hiker — we can keep things easygoing. Or, if you're up for more of a challenge, we can head into more rugged terrain with big views and bigger stories.

Expect warm conditions, especially in the middle of the day — temperatures can reach above 30°C at certain times of year. Bring a hat, sun protection, and plenty of water. Comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots are essential.

Note: Your itinerary may be subject to change due to natural events and upon instruction from the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation & Attractions (DBCA) due to Park management restrictions.
