A Collaboration Between Yardie Creek Boat Tours & Trek Ningaloo

Discover the spectacular landscapes of Cape Range National Park and the turquoise waters of the Ningaloo Coast on a relaxed, small-group half-day adventure, brought to you through a collaboration between two local operators, Trek Ningaloo and Yardie Creek Boat Tours.

Combining a scenic boat cruise through the ancient Yardie Creek Gorge with beautiful beaches, coastal highlights and personalised local guiding, this experience offers a wonderful way to discover Ningaloo without the demands of a longer trek.

With a maximum of just six guests on shared departures, or private charters for up to eight, you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the scenery, discover the region's wildlife and explore at a relaxed pace. An early start and minimal walking make this an ideal way to experience Ningaloo, particularly during the warmer months.

Yardie Creek Boat Tour

Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your Exmouth accommodation and a scenic drive through Cape Range National Park.

Before boarding the boat, we'll explore Yardie Creek from above, taking a short scenic walk to a lookout with spectacular views over the winding gorge and its towering red limestone cliffs.

We'll then join Yardie Creek Boat Tours for their award-winning one-hour cruise through the ancient gorge. Glide beneath the impressive cliffs as your boat guide shares fascinating insights into the area's geology, wildlife and natural history.

Keep an eye out for the resident black-footed rock wallabies, ospreys and other wildlife that call this remarkable landscape home. It's a wonderful opportunity to experience one of Cape Range National Park's most iconic natural attractions from two different perspectives, both above the gorge and from the water.

Sandy Bay & the Ningaloo Coast

Following the boat cruise, we'll make our way to beautiful Sandy Bay, where there's time to relax and enjoy a refreshing swim in the clear turquoise waters of Ningaloo, conditions permitting.

As we journey along the coast, your Trek Ningaloo guide will share their knowledge and passion for the region, its landscapes, wildlife and natural history.

Depending on the season, weather and available time, we may also visit other coastal highlights, including Mangrove Bay, the Turtle Rookery, Vlamingh Head Lighthouse or the historic SS Mildura shipwreck.

Every departure is a little different, allowing us to make the most of the conditions on the day before returning to Exmouth around lunchtime.

Small Groups. Personal Experiences.

We believe exploring Ningaloo is best enjoyed without the crowds.

With a maximum of just six guests on our shared tours, there's time to appreciate the scenery, ask questions, take photographs and enjoy the experience at your own pace.

Prefer something just for yourselves? Private charters are available for solo travellers, couples, families and small groups of up to eight guests, offering exclusive use of your Trek Ningaloo vehicle and guide.

The Yardie Creek boat cruise is generally shared with other passengers, including on private charters. An exclusive boat cruise may be arranged on request, subject to availability and additional charges.
